Lokal is a Significant Social Media Intermediary and has implemented policies and procedures to comply with the requirements of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (Rules). As per the requirements of the Rules, BTPL publishes monthly compliance reports which are in line with Rule (4) of the Rules. BTPL uses a mix of human intervention and machine learning to moderate its content.
